Job Title: Travel Industry Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced travel professional to join our team as a liaison between our company and its current and potential customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively catering to the travel requirements of clients, enhancing their experience and acquiring an expanding and dedicated clientele through unparalleled customer service.

  • Manage domestic and international flight bookings, rail services, and other travel arrangements.
  • Provide information on products and services including visa, foreign exchange, health regulations, and insurance.
  • Handle refund and cancellation of domestic and international air tickets.
  • Coordinate with airlines and travel suppliers to issue tickets with optimal deal codes, bonus miles, and rewards.
  • Adhere to established communication protocols when handling different topics.
  • Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and servicing teams.
  • Assist in follow-up with invoicing and recoveries.
  • Identify customer needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions or alternatives.
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going above and beyond.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Effective communication and active listening skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems, and e-traveling.
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time efficiently.
  • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
  • Passionate interest in geography and strong domestic and international travel knowledge.
  • Ability to assimilate information and pay close attention to accuracy and detail.

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate with a diploma in travel and tourism preferred.

Experience:

  • Total 3-5 years of relevant experience in a travel management company.
