Job Overview

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a UI/UX Design Intern. As a member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating intuitive interfaces for our learning products while gaining hands-on experience with design systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining our design system by updating Figma components, tokens, and documentation.
  • Support the production of user interface designs by creating layout variations, states, and lightweight prototypes under senior direction.
  • Participate in usability testing and assist in synthesizing findings for design iterations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and content teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Apply accessibility standards to interface tweaks and redlines, ensuring compliance with WCAG principles.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree or certification in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • Fundamental knowledge of visual hierarchy, typography, color, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or similar software (coursework or personal projects acceptable).
  • A strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and iterate quickly.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
