The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data architecture and models, as well as experience with cloud-based data strategies and big data technologies. You should also have hands-on experience with SQL and a deep understanding of PostgreSQL development, query optimization, and designing indexes.

In addition to your technical skills, you should be able to provide leadership in establishing connections between engineering, product, and analytics/data scientists teams. You will design, implement, and update existing/new batch ETL pipelines, define and implement data architecture, and partner with engineers and data analysts to build reliable datasets.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop features in the existing Data Warehouse
  • Provide leadership in establishing connection between Engineering, Product and Analytics/Data Scientists Team
  • Design, Implement, Update existing/new Batch ETL Pipelines
  • Define and Implement Data Architecture
  • Partner with Engineers and Data Analysts to build Reliable Datasets
  • Work with various Data Orchestration Tools (Apache Airflow, Dagster, Prefect and others)

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Data Architecture and Models
  • Experience with Cloud Based Data Strategies and Big Data Technologies
  • Hands on Experience with SQL
  • Deep understanding of PostgreSQL Development, Query Optimization and Designing Indexes
