As a Senior Observability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable observability platforms across hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building robust synthetic monitoring solutions, driving adoption of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tooling, and embedding synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect secure and resilient synthetic monitoring platforms that cater to the needs of dynamic business ecosystems.
  • Lead the implementation of APM solutions with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
  • Define strategies for onboarding telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
  • Integrate observability tooling to deliver unified insights and streamline monitoring practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions where necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
  • Drive documentation, training, and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring capabilities.
  • Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
  • Partner with security teams on compliance, threat detection, and governance related to monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools (Catchpoint, Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.

Primary Skills: AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda), Application Performance Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring, Dynatrace.

Secondary Skills: Playwright Scripting
