You will contribute to our team's purpose and values in this role, driving the testing and substantiation of antimicrobial claims for new projects. This involves providing microbiological support for the development of new products across various categories, including personal care and surface care brands.

This is a key position within our global microbiology team, where you will be responsible for driving data generation, analysis, and recommendations around antimicrobial performance of innovative products.

Your primary focus will be on managing interactions with external labs and institutions while working on innovation projects, as well as maintaining and improving laboratory procedures and best practices in accordance with global quality and safety guidelines.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience conducting antimicrobial performance evaluations using global standards like EN, ASTM, and ISO, preferably EN1276, EN1650, and EN13697.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Substantiate Antimicrobial Claims: Support New Product Development teams in substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects by planning and conducting experiments to evaluate the efficacy of prototype formulations and finished products.
  • Laboratory Operations: Maintain lab records in compliance with Microbiology Laboratory and Global Quality standards, and recommend minor modifications to existing techniques, processes, or programs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with external laboratories in a professional and productive manner to ensure timely delivery of results.
