
Livelihood Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and implementing livelihood activities, working closely with project teams to achieve defined objectives and targets. This role requires a strong understanding of social and environmental sustainability concepts, as well as experience in managing livelihood or income generation programs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of livelihood activities aligned with the project design and quality standards.
- Support project teams in developing detailed implementation plans and budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to enhance the technical quality of project interventions.
- Develop knowledge management products showcasing project impact.
- Promote reflective practices to refine strategies and approaches.
Enterprise Development:
- Establish women-led plastic collection centers and collection points within waste collector communities.
- Launch e-tricycle-based plastic waste collection initiatives for informal waste collectors.
- Implement skill training initiatives and develop market linkages for decent income opportunities.
- Forge partnerships with government bodies and private sector actors for capacity building and enterprise support.
Capacity Building:
- Organize entrepreneurship awareness and development programs for beneficiaries.
- Coordinate multi-stakeholder workshops on enterprise development.
- Conduct EAPs, EDPs, and mentorship sessions for emerging entrepreneurs.
- Offer continuous business support and mentorship for women micro-entrepreneurs.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Log key performance indicators into the PFC platform for monitoring.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data flow through the PFC technology platform.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports in prescribed formats.
- Maintain and analyze all MIS data.
General Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Uphold organizational policies and protocols across all levels.
- Foster collaborative communication with stakeholders.
- Ensure confidentiality and data security at all times.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge:
- Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing livelihood or income generation programs in the social sector.
- Experience in social business development is highly desirable.
- Prior experience working with informal sectors and vulnerable workforce.
Skills and Competencies:
