Job Overview

As a skilled Hydraulic Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing hydraulic systems for large mining products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing concept designs, component placement, routing, and system integration for hydraulic systems.
  • Collaborating with global teams and suppliers to support new product introductions (NPI) and aftermarket services.
  • Interpreting and troubleshooting hydraulic schematics to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Validating hydraulic components and performing design calculations to meet project requirements.
  • Conducting bolted joint analysis and FEA using Creo Simulate or equivalent software.
  • Applying APQP, GD&T, and BOM management principles to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Supporting prototype/pilot builds, on-machine tests, and validation processes.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in designing hydraulics systems and components.
  • Proficiency in Creo and understanding of hydraulic schematics.
  • Knowledge of material properties, hose fittings, and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
