Chief Technology Officer - Infrastructure

The ideal candidate will drive the development and implementation of a future-proof IT infrastructure strategy across our network of schools and devices.

  • Develop a comprehensive hardware strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless user experiences.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of devices, from procurement and configuration to maintenance and replacement cycles.
  • Evaluate and manage vendors, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), warehouse providers, and deployment partners.
  • Pilot and assess new classroom technologies, providing recommendations based on learning outcomes and total cost of ownership.
  • Ensure seamless internal IT operations, including device provisioning, WiFi, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), secure access management, and productivity tooling.

  • Strategic leadership with a strong focus on accountability and results-driven decision making.
  • Effective vendor and stakeholder management skills, with experience in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Able to balance field realities with strategic goals, demonstrating a first-principles thinking approach.
  • Comfortable operating in high-scale, high-complexity environments, with a bias for action and a willingness to innovate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
