About the Role

As a seasoned Microsoft Office expert, you will provide comprehensive support and consultation services to clients. Your responsibilities will include recommending security settings, updating software, and configuring general settings for Microsoft Office Apps and Office 2019. Additionally, you will document changes for administrators and end users via FAQ pages and manuals.

You will also be responsible for processing tickets assigned to technical service, coordinating with other interfaces such as Outlook/Teams or Add-ins, and supporting a custom-developed add-on called R&S Templates Manager.

Your expertise will extend to consulting customers on implementing new requirements and understanding customer needs in an international environment. You will guide and share knowledge with younger colleagues, participate in MS Office rollouts for new versions and features, and organize rollout waves with internal colleagues.

Maintaining effective communication skills is crucial in this role, as you will inform end users and coordinate with the internal service desk. A hyper care phase with fast troubleshooting is also a critical aspect of this position.

Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office Apps and Office 2019 is essential.
  • A strong understanding of security, update, and general settings for Office 2019 and Microsoft Office Apps is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge of operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plugins used in Microsoft Office Apps and Office 2019 is required.
  • Strong skills in creating templates for Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential.
  • Microsoft Certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 4–5 years of experience with MS Office, with at least 2 years in MS Office consulting, is required.
