Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. You will work closely with various teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and provide insights to support business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Management: Gather, process, and manage large datasets from various internal and external sources to ensure accurate data storage and availability.

• Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations using statistical techniques and tools such as SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

• Reporting and Visualization: Create detailed reports and data visualizations to help stakeholders understand key insights and make data-driven decisions.

• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations, etc.) to identify data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

• Data Integrity: Ensure data quality and integrity by conducting regular audits and validations of data, troubleshooting discrepancies when necessary.

• Automation: Develop automated reporting processes to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

• Predictive Analysis: Assist in building predictive models to forecast future trends, opportunities, and risks.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

• Technical Skills:

      • Proficient in SQL for database management and queries.

      • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

      • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).

      • Familiarity with Python, R, or other data analysis languages is an advantage.

      • Knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques.

      • Experience with machine learning is a plus.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.

• Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and how data analysis contributes to improving performance and decision-making.

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in data analytics, such as a Google Data Analytics Certificate, Microsoft Data Analyst Certification, or similar.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data processing and storage.
