Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hands-on data validation skills.

The role involves designing and executing test plans, validating large datasets, and ensuring quality across GCP-based solutions.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and reports.
  • Perform thorough data-level validations including schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations.
  • Work extensively with GCP services especially BigQuery for data validation.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for testing large data sets.
  • Automate test cases using GCP services like Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow, BigQuery and SQL.
  • Monitor GCP cloud logs and build informative dashboards.
  • Identify, log, and track defects and provide regular status updates on execution/validation progress.
  • Manage defect triage with various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Hands-on data validation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative mindset.
