Job Description

As a Wireless Network Infrastructure Solutions Developer, you will leverage your in-depth knowledge of wireless networking and operational practices to develop the technical strategy used to maintain one of the largest wireless networks globally. You will collaborate with software teams, FC infrastructure operations, and wireless architecture and RF engineering teams to define, build, and automate future solutions that enable faster, scalable management globally.

You will develop standards, metrics, and validate new solutions required to support complex ecosystems of robotics, mobile devices, end-user equipment, and workstations.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Technical Solution Development: Identify, develop, and deliver technical solutions that improve the availability of our wireless network technologies.
  • Customer Needs Analysis: Understand customer needs and create technical solutions utilizing wired networking technologies.
  • Network Availability Definition: Define and measure the availability of our existing and future network solutions, ensuring they meet or exceed customer needs.
  • Solution Deployment: Identify and deliver solutions that reduce operational impact on customers and enable them with scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized services.
  • Problem-Solving: Dive deep into complex problems to identify root causes of customer impacts, developing and delivering corrective actions.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies, lab test/certify solutions, conduct proof of concepts, run book definition, and lead pilot deployments.
  • Infrastructure Automation: Innovate and automate infrastructure testing, deployment, operations, and life cycle management.
  • Process Improvement: Define the strategy for future team processes and tools that improve how we maintain and manage infrastructure effectively, efficiently, and safely.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 4+ years of practical relevant experience in large-scale wireless networking operations and engineering.
  • Wireless Networking Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of wireless networking technologies (802.11 & RF).
  • Fundamental Understanding: Deep understanding of fundamentals and packet capture analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, comfortable working in a UNIX/Linux environment, and software development in Python.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Additional Knowledge: Understanding of other networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, and LAN switching), ability to support follow-the-sun shifts and on-call, including weekends/Public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
  • High-Density Deployments: Experience operating high-density AP and client deployments.
  • Networking Concepts: Working knowledge of network technologies and concepts, including DHCP, DNS, STP, BGP, Underlay, and Overlay, SDWAN.
  • Cisco/Mist Solutions: Working knowledge of Cisco/Mist solutions in large-scale global deployments.
  • Programming Skills: Mastery of automating in Python, Java, or other languages.
  • Ekahau or Site Survey Software: Good knowledge of Ekahau or other site survey software.
  • Certifications: CCNP/CWNA or equivalent certifications.
  • Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this position is ₹2,250,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location considerations.
