Video Editing Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end editing of diverse video projects including marketing, social media, product demos, testimonials and branded content.

The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. They will also possess strong attention to detail, excellent teamwork, communication and creative problem-solving skills.

In this role, you will work closely with creative leads, marketers and motion designers to deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines. You will be responsible for reviewing and implementing feedback on drafts, organising and managing video assets and files, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and new editing techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into professional, high-quality videos for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, website, ads)
  • Incorporate graphics, music, audio mixing, sound effects, transitions, captions and colour grading to enhance video impact
  • Collaborate regularly with the production team to meet project requirements and brand standards
  • Review and implement feedback on drafts to produce final cuts within deadlines
  • Organise and manage video assets and files for efficient workflow; export videos in required formats
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new editing techniques and video technologies (including AI tools when relevant)

Qualification, Experience and Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree in Media, Communication, Animation or related field (preferred)
  • 2-3 years' hands-on experience with professional video editing (portfolio required)
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe suites such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Familiarity with social media algorithm requirements and digital distribution standards is a plus
