Occupational Health Dietitian

As an Occupational Health Dietitian, you will play a vital role in promoting workplace wellness and preventing occupational health risks through personalized dietary guidance and menu planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of employees to identify potential health risks and develop tailored diet plans to mitigate these risks.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach to employee health.
  3. Design and implement nutrition programs to support worker well-being, immunity, and energy levels, fostering a productive and healthy workforce.
  4. Deliver awareness sessions, workshops, and health talks on balanced diet, workplace nutrition, hydration, and stress-related eating to promote healthy habits among employees.
  5. Maintain accurate records of dietary assessments, menu plans, interventions, and progress for compliance and reporting purposes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  6. Stay updated on best practices in clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and industrial dietary management to deliver evidence-based solutions and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or equivalent fields.
  • Registered Dietician certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Dietician, preferably in occupational health, hospital, or industrial healthcare setup, with a strong focus on preventive healthcare and clinical nutrition.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, occupational health nutrition, and preventive healthcare, with expertise in large-scale menu planning and industrial canteen management.
  • Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, including employees, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
