Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled High-Voltage Inverter Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop the mechanical aspects of high-voltage inverters.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in HV Inverter Mechanical Design and development, as well as knowledge of high voltage inverter components such as power modules, DC link capacitors, EMC filters, and shielding's.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Design and develop mechanical packaging, structures, and thermal management systems for high-voltage power inverters.
  • Knowledge and Understanding: Have a basis understanding of high voltage inverter components and their functions.
  • Simulations and Analysis: Perform basic simulations on structural, thermal, and other relevant areas.
  • Software Skills: Expertise in Unigraphics NX (Modelling, Drafting, Plastic & casting design, Generative sheet metal, Generative shape design, DMU).
  • Drafting and Documentation: Excellent drafting knowledge and best practices of drafting according to international standards.
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing: Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Design for Manufacturing and Assembly: Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly (DFM/DFA).
  • Problem-Solving and Collaboration: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
