Job Title:

Technical Support Engineer for Web/Mobile Application


Job Description:

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide top-notch technical assistance to internal and external users. You will work closely with the Client Success team and Engineering department to debug and resolve software technical issues.

You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate customer feedback, managing multiple cases simultaneously, and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Additionally, you will investigate and troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team, propose workarounds to customers when a fix is not immediately available, and communicate effectively with customers to identify and resolve their problems quickly.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with the development team in India to gather feedback and inputs, assist the QA lead with quality assurance activities, and document procedures and processes for future reference.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • US office hours (9 am - 6 pm Central Time)
  • Experience in tech support for web-based business applications with Mobile interfaces
  • Proficiency in Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWS
  • Knowledge of browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software
  • Familiarity with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Benefits:

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum

Certifications in Linux, Java, Web development, AWS are desirable but not required

Ability to adapt quickly and scale into a developer role with minimal training
