Web Development Specialist Job

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites, ensuring seamless user experience, implementing technical SEO best practices, and optimizing website functionality.

  • Develop and customize websites based on client specifications.
  • Implement and modify themes, plugins, and custom functionalities.
  • Conduct internal reviews and quality assurance before deployment.
  • Ensure website security, updates, and troubleshooting post-launch.
Main Responsibilities

The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Website Development & Maintenance: Develop and customize websites based on client specifications, implement and modify themes, plugins, and custom functionalities, conduct internal reviews and quality assurance before deployment, and ensure website security, updates, and troubleshooting post-launch.
  • UX Optimization: Ensure the website is mobile-friendly, responsive, and easy to navigate, conduct cross-browser testing and optimize for fast load times, and work closely with the design team to maintain brand consistency.
  • Technical SEO Implementation: Optimize metadata, structured data, images, and page speed, follow a structured SEO checklist before website launch, and monitor technical SEO compliance via tracking tools.
  • Appointment Booking Tool Development: Develop and integrate appointment booking features for healthcare websites, conduct pre-launch testing and ensure seamless functionality, train end-users on using the appointment tool effectively.
  • Issue Resolution & Quality Assurance: Identify and fix bugs within a 48-hour resolution window, maintain detailed documentation of issue resolutions, and perform post-resolution quality checks to prevent recurrence.
  • Project Management: Adhere to the project timeline for completion, maintain daily progress updates and flag potential risks early, and ensure projects are launched successfully with minimal post-launch revisions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update clients and internal teams on project progress, work closely with designers, content creators, and specialists, and ensure alignment on timelines, expectations, and deliverables.

This role requires excellent web development skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with popular front-end and back-end technologies, as well as expertise in version control systems and agile methodologies.

Additionally, this person should be proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
