Chief Software Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality releases.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through rigorous testing and validation. This will involve developing and executing test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. They will also have experience with testing management tools and agile methodologies.
- Develop and execute manual and/or automated test cases for software applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and security testing.
- Validate compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, HIPAA, ISO 13485).
- Collaborate with developers, services, stakeholders, and regulatory teams to understand requirements and ensure compliance.
- Perform defect tracking and reporting using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Bugzilla.
- Execute SQL queries to validate database integrity.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and execution logs.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex applications.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, RobotFramework).
Requirements:
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analysis skills with a tenacious attention to detail.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Agile Testing, Testing Lifecycle knowledge & Scrum Methodologies.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of working experience with at least one or more year implementing or testing applications in the clinical research/trials domain.
A degree in Computer Science or related field is desired.
