Neurosurgeon Consultant

About the Role

Immersive Labz, a pioneer in modernizing medical education, seeks an experienced Neurosurgeon Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a key contributor to our mission, you will play a pivotal role in developing advanced surgical training modules and tools for visualizing neuroanatomy, pathology, surgery, and more.

The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience, preferably 5 years, in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders or performing neurosurgical procedures. A proven track record in managing complex cases and performing advanced surgical techniques is essential. Proficiency in neurological examinations and diagnostic techniques, such as MRI, CT scans, EEG, and strong surgical skills, including minimally invasive and open surgical techniques, are also required.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with graphic designers, animators, and developers to conceptualize and develop realistic neurological and surgical simulations. Your expertise will ensure accuracy in simulations, while your clinical insight will inform the design of scenarios that accurately reflect real-world neurological and surgical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize and develop realistic neurological and surgical simulations.
• Provide expert input on neurological conditions, surgical procedures, and anatomical details to ensure accuracy in simulations.
• Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on simulation designs, animations, and interactive features to enhance educational value.
• Share clinical experiences and insights to inform the design of scenarios that accurately reflect real-world neurological and surgical challenges.
• Demos and training: Engage in demos and training sessions to support and guide medical educators and students in understanding the attributes and advantages of the product.
• Interdisciplinary Communication: Facilitate communication between medical and technical teams to align goals and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Research and development: Assist the content research and development team by providing insights and feedback during studies and research communications.

Qualifications:

• A medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Completed residency in neurology or neurosurgery from a recognized institution.
• Fellowship training in a subspecialty of neurology or neurosurgery (e.g., neuro-oncology, pediatric neurosurgery, functional neurosurgery) is preferred.

Licensure and Certification:

• A valid medical license to practice as a neurologist or neurosurgeon in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Board certification in neurology or neurosurgery.

Clinical Experience:

• Extensive clinical experience preferably 5 years in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders or performing neurosurgical procedures.
• A proven track record in managing complex cases and performing advanced surgical techniques.
• Proficiency in neurological examinations and diagnostic techniques (e.g., MRI, CT scans, EEG).
• Strong surgical skills, including minimally invasive and open surgical techniques.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
