Founded by an experienced investment professional, Indago Research has recently secured backing from a US-based family office and is poised for rapid growth. To support this expansion, we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Data Analyst.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to contribute to a broad range of areas, including data gathering, mergers and acquisitions, equity research, and corporate finance. As an integral member of the team, you will have the chance to grow with the company and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves:

  • Utilizing publicly available sources to gather relevant data for clients
  • Creating comprehensive three-statement financial models
  • Analyzing businesses, industries, and economies to develop investment theses on companies
  • Preparing confidential information memorandums (CIMs) and pitch books
  • Conducting valuation analyses based on comparable transactions/public company analysis
  • Developing buyer/target lists for M&A clients

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong background in equity research (sell side/buy side), investment banking, marketing of asset management, Big-4 accounting, or strategy/management consulting (0-2 years)
  • An MBA, CA, CPA, Masters, or CFA degree; exceptional candidates with an undergraduate/bachelor's degree may also be considered
  • A highly entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working independently in unstructured environments and quickly adapting to new situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express complex ideas clearly in PPT, Word, Excel, and email formats
  • Strong quantitative skills and a history of delivering results in a self-motivated, initiative-driven environment
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and help shape projects being completed

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
