Head of Digital IT Transformation

The successful candidate will lead the digital transformation agenda across various entities in India, Portugal, and Germany. This role is pivotal in orchestrating the delivery of custom-built and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) IT solutions, establishing a robust data lake infrastructure, and embedding AI-enabled applications across all IT functional departments.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Execute a 3-year digital transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide strategic priorities.
  • Drive enterprise data initiatives including the development and scaling of data lake infrastructure.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across India, Germany, and Portugal IT teams to anchor digitalization and tooling strategies from pilot phases to full-scale development and support.
  • Establish and lead the implementation of success metrics for Digitalization projects, reporting insights to senior leadership.
  • Oversee technology initiatives by leading the delivery of COTS and custom IT solutions, championing design thinking and agile methodologies with a product development mindset.
  • Drive the strategic adoption of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms and custom-built tools to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Embed AI-enabled applications across business functions to enhance decision-making and automation.
  • Anchor software engineering practices and enable delivery of Product MVPs in collaboration with Digital Delivery departments.
  • Ensure strategic compliance with InfoSec, legal, and regulatory standards across all digital initiatives.
