  • Build a scalable, high-performance marketplace where applications can be found, purchased, and managed.
  • Create APIs, SDKs, and frameworks to simplify application integration, maintenance, and expansion within the marketplace.
  • Integrate existing SolarWinds Observability SaaS applications into the marketplace to enhance discoverability and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 engineers, with the ability to scale the team as the marketplace evolves.
  2. Roadmap Ownership: Define and drive the technical roadmap, balancing strategic business objectives with engineering execution.
  3. Security and Compliance: Develop frameworks to ensure third-party compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory adherence for external products sold via the marketplace.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of software development experience with a strong background in distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
  • Programming proficiency in Kotlin or Go (preferred), or similar modern backend languages.
  • Marketplace and e-commerce experience: Proven ability to develop e-commerce platforms, transactional systems, or payment processing solutions.
