Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Director

We are seeking a seasoned production expert to oversee the daily operations of our apparel manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in senior production management roles, with a proven track record of achieving daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing targets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end operations across production, quality, maintenance, and material flow. They will implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other process improvement methods to minimize downtime and ensure smooth workflow across all production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly production target achievement in alignment with customer orders and business commitments.
  • Monitor line-wise productivity and take timely corrective measures to address shortfalls.
  • Support capacity planning and scheduling to ensure optimal resource utilization.

They will also oversee the implementation of quality assurance processes, ensuring all products meet defined quality standards (AQL, buyer specifications). Additionally, they will assist in cost control and waste reduction initiatives.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. They must be able to perform under pressure and deliver results in tight timelines. A degree in Textile or Garment Technology, or equivalent, is essential.

Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of garment manufacturing processes, sewing line balancing, fabric types, trims, and finishing. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO quality systems is an advantage.
