The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for gaming and be up-to-date with the latest industry trends. They should possess excellent design skills, including knowledge of color theory, composition, and layout design. A good understanding of usability, flow, and information hierarchy is also essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating visually appealing mobile game UI assets, including icons, menus, buttons, HUD elements, and promotional materials. They will work closely with our Art Directors, Game Designers, Producers, and Developers to ensure that the UI designs align with the game's branding and visual direction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ● Design and create high-quality 2D UI assets optimized for different platforms.
    ● Develop mockups, wireframes, and interactive prototypes to visualize UI concepts.
    ● Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth implementation of UI elements in the game.
    ● Maintain consistency and optimization in existing UI art styles.
    ● Enhance the user experience (UX) by designing intuitive and engaging game navigation.
    ● Create functional cross-platform UI assets for multiple game titles.
    ● Work with the Art Lead to develop and manage asset libraries and guidelines.
    ● Support marketing efforts by providing assets for promotional campaigns.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
  • ● BFA certification is a plus, but any graduate can apply.
    ● Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, composition, and layout design.
    ● Expertise in game UI and UX design, with an understanding of usability, flow, and information hierarchy.
    ● Ability to create visually appealing designs optimized for different platforms.
    ● Experience in sketching, wireframing, and mockup creation for UI designs.
    ● Creative thinking and a strong ability to come up with new and engaging game ideas.
    ● Ability to collaborate effectively with Game Designers, Developers, and other Artists.
    ● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    ● Experience in 2D UI/UX design, preferably in the gaming industry.
