Job Role
The Senior Data Protection Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the compliance of SBI Card's data protection and privacy policies with applicable regulations and industry standards. The role requires close coordination with various stakeholders, including the business, data protection officers and external auditors.

Responsibilities
- Align business processes and operational practices with data protection policies and procedures
- Conduct periodic data protection impact assessments to identify risks and implement mitigation measures
- Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant data protection laws and regulations, including the Data Privacy Act of India
- Collaborate with the data protection team to develop and implement policies and procedures for data breach notification and incident response

Requirements
- Industry-standard certifications such as DCPP (DSCI Certified Privacy Professional) and DSCI Certified Privacy Lead Assessor (DCPLA)
- Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations, including the Data Privacy Act of India and international standards such as GDPR
- Proven experience in data protection, information security or audit
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
