Community Outreach Specialist

As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting community visits to identify and engage with individuals and families in need of services.

  • You will raise awareness about program objectives, services, and entitlements through various outreach strategies.
  • Facilitate referrals to health, education, or social service providers as needed to ensure seamless support for our clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of visits, interventions, and follow-ups using data collection tools and software.
  • Organize and conduct community meetings, group sessions, or awareness campaigns to promote our programs and services.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and the community, ensuring that their needs and feedback are communicated effectively.
  • Assist in distributing Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials to enhance knowledge and awareness about our initiatives.
  • Support data collection and documentation for project monitoring and evaluation to inform future programming decisions.

Other Requirements

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 35 hours per week. Travel may be required to conduct community visits and outreach activities.
