Job Title: Plumbing and Fire Fighting System Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Fire Fighting System Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing plumbing and fire fighting systems for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing plumbing and fire fighting systems as per the architect's layout, client requirements, and specifications.
  • Producing tender drawings of plumbing and fire fighting systems, including waste, soil, and rainwater, sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher systems.
  • Providing calculated notes as required.
  • Selecting and preparing materials for submission.
  • Contacting suppliers to request quotations and technical documents, if necessary.
  • Taking off BOQ of firefighting and plumbing systems, including sprinkler heads, pipes, sanitary fixtures, and units.
  • Preparing information regarding design, structure specification, material, equipment, estimated cost, and construction time.
  • Coordinating closely with electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural teams.
  • Directing activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents.
  • Planning the layout of the project.
  • Preparing scale drawings.
  • Collaborating with supervisors in preparing technical reports and installation on site.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
