Job Description

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team at Catalyst Engineering. As a key member of our IOS XE Platform Independent team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance system software for Cisco platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Proficient in C programming with expertise in code generation techniques, multi-threaded development, and scripting languages such as Python for tooling and prototyping
  • Strong foundation in modular software build, data structures, and sophisticated problem-solving
  • Extensive experience in networking technologies, protocol development, and L2-L3 QoS
  • Skilled in Linux-based build systems, working with Makefiles, integrating SDKs, and using debugging tools like GDB
