Automotive Closures Design Opportunity

Job Summary:

Elevate your career as a skilled closures design engineer and join a dynamic team in the automotive industry. We are seeking a highly motivated professional with expertise in designing and developing closure systems for automobile OEMs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop front door, rear door, tailgate, engine hood, and fender systems with a focus on sheet metal, aluminum, extrusions, and plastics parts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality closure systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of tolerance stack up and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate designs.
  • Present design concepts and master sections to internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Work closely with suppliers to source materials and components, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in B.E (Mechanical / Automobile) with hands-on experience in automobile domain, specifically closures design.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in CATIA and PLM software like Teamcenter, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
