About the Team

Minerva is a cross-functional team of highly experienced analysts, BIEs, scientists, data engineers, and software engineers with a critical business mission making revolutionary leaps forward using massive-scale data with advanced analytics and machine learning and helping democratize the publishing industry.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
  • 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience.
  • 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, or a related technical or quantitative field.
  • Experience in working with databases, ETL tools in a business environment.
  • Demonstrated use of analytical packages and query languages such as SQL.
  • Experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting, familiarity with data visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight.
  • Experience communicating analytical outcomes through written communication to both business and technical teams.
