About the Role

As a Senior Director, Product Design, you will lead the product design team and be responsible for our company's design strategy.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our products by designing and releasing intuitive and powerful solutions that empower both internal teams and external users. You'll build and lead a team of talented product designers, setting a vision for user experience across our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Strategy: Define and drive the holistic design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Customer-Facing Influence: Engage in early client discussions to shape design strategy, translating needs into actionable insights.
  • Design Ops: Establish and streamline design operations to improve efficiency and quality across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
