Cardiovascular Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Interventional Cardiologist.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for an Interventional Cardiologist (DM/DNB Cardiology) to join our medical team in Kolkata.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing various cardiovascular conditions and performing interventional procedures such as coronary angioplasty and stent placement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing round-the-clock support for acute cardiac emergencies and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions
• Perform interventional procedures such as:
• Coronary angioplasty and stent placement
• Pacemaker and device implantations (ICD, CRT, etc.)
• Emergency interventions for acute myocardial infarction
• Provide round-the-clock support for acute cardiac emergencies and Cath Lab cases
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, etc.) for comprehensive care
• Participate in academic training, CMEs, and hospital quality improvement programs

Qualifications

• MBBS from a recognized medical college (mandatory)
• MD (General Medicine) followed by DM (Cardiology) or equivalent DNB (Cardiology) from an NMC-recognized institute (mandatory)
• Strong expertise in interventional cardiology procedures (angioplasty, stenting, device implantation, etc.)
• Extensive experience in Cath Lab operations and acute cardiac care management
• Strong diagnostic, analytical, and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure tertiary care hospital settings
• Prior experience as an Interventional Cardiologist in a hospital/tertiary care environment preferred (fresh DM/DNB graduates may also apply)
