Role Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Architect to lead the development of our data systems, ensuring seamless order management and insights.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in designing scalable data architectures and overseeing data transformation for cross-functional teams.
  • Additionally, they will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior engineers to align with our long-term strategy.
  • Close collaboration with sales, engineering, and other teams is crucial to ensure smooth data operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct long-term data architecture projects, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Implement performance tuning for Big Data platforms, including Spark, Delta Lake, and Presto, to optimize data processing and reduce latency.
  • Manage data flow using Apache Flink/Spark Streaming, ensuring real-time data processing and analysis.
  • Facilitate smooth collaboration among team members and ensure that team goals align with organizational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture and engineering.
  • Strong understanding of data processing technologies, including Spark, Delta Lake, and Presto.
  • Experience with Apache Flink/Spark Streaming and real-time data processing.
  • Leadership skills, including ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
