Job Description

As a Senior Writer for our Tamil Lifestyle team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality lifestyle stories across various categories. Your role will involve researching and writing engaging content, adapting print media sensibilities to digital formats, and working closely with the editorial team to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Write and edit lifestyle stories on topics such as health, fashion, food, travel, relationships, and culture.
  • Develop fresh and trending story concepts that resonate with Tamil readers.
  • Transform long-form print media content into digital-friendly storytelling formats.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure high-quality and accurate content.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 10–12 years of professional experience in journalism or content writing.
  • At least 5–7 years of experience covering the lifestyle beat in print or digital media.
  • Exceptional command over the Tamil language (written and verbal).
  • Strong understanding of audience preferences in lifestyle content.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and originality.
  • Familiarity with digital publishing, SEO, and social media platforms is an added advantage.
