Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Banking professional to join our team as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial banking operations and the ability to provide strategic insights, process consulting, and domain expertise across various functions.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to drive transformation, support solution design, and ensure delivery excellence in commercial banking engagements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a domain consultant and advisor in commercial banking engagements
  • Providing thorough understanding of banking delivery functions, including maturities, platforms, geographical requirements, and client support systems
  • Translating complex banking processes into actionable insights and business requirements for BPS function
  • Owning RFP/RFI responses, solution creation, and go-to-market strategy for commercial banking offerings
  • Driving digital transformation initiatives in client banking operations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in commercial banking domain, with exposure to corporate lending, trade finance, cash & payments, risk & compliance, and client onboarding from operations standpoint
  • Previous experience in consulting, transformation, or solution architect role within an BPS function is preferred
  • Strong understanding of banking processes, systems, and compliance/regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree with Master's degree in management, or related field

Preferred:

  • Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global banks, either directly or via BPS engagements
  • Global exposure to UK, US, APAC, or Middle East banking regulations and practices
