Seeking an expert in database and application development to lead our Operations team as the SSIS/SSRS Lead.

About the Role

The successful candidate will drive strategic direction, monitor jobs, schedule tasks, configure, and maintain batch jobs. They will serve as the primary contact for user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems ensuring a seamless experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop operational processes, guidelines, and best practices to streamline support operations and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Log, prioritize, and collaborate with product teams on resolving bugs and complex technical issues.
  • Monitor critical issues, escalate when necessary, and provide workarounds for unsupported functionality.
  • Assist in refining Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to improve service delivery and user satisfaction.
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot SSIS packages, stored procedures, SQL queries, automation processes, and SQL jobs with an eye on performance.
  • Convert, manipulate, and prepare large volumes of data for ingestion into our systems using SQL Server integration tools.
  • Create, modify, and troubleshoot reporting queries in SQL Server 2019.
  • Maintain and support data ingestion tools and automation scripts.
  • Manage and resolve data-related issues reported by customers and internal employees.
  • Conduct quality and business logic checks on all data into and out of systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field.

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years' experience in database and application development and support.
  • Proven SQL language expertise with high-performance skills.
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Sisense and SSRS.
  • Expertise in MS SQL Server.
  • Data modeling knowledge.
  • Scripting language proficiency (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
