At our interior design firm, we take pride in delivering innovative and bespoke residential interior projects. We're seeking an ambitious Junior Interior Designer to join our team.

Job Overview
  • This role involves collaborating with senior designers to create engaging design concepts, mood boards, and presentation materials that reflect our company's vision.
Responsibilities
  • Design Assistance: Provide support to senior designers in creating unique design concepts, while also assisting in the development of project proposals and presentations.
  • Drafting and Modeling: Prepare detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D models under the guidance of senior designers, ensuring accuracy and precision in every aspect.
  • Research: Conduct thorough research on materials, furnishings, and design trends to inform project development and ensure alignment with our brand identity.
  • Client Interaction: Assist in client meetings and presentations, helping to communicate design ideas and gather feedback to improve our services.
  • Documentation: Maintain and organise project documentation, including specifications, samples, and design files, ensuring seamless communication across teams.
  • Site Visits: Participate in site visits to assess project progress, take measurements, and ensure design implementation aligns with plans.
Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of design principles, styles, and trends is essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape) is a must-have.
  • Attention to detail is crucial in creating accurate design documents, drawings, and presentations.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Ability to manage tasks efficiently and handle multiple assignments is key to meeting deadlines.
  • Strong creative skills are required to contribute fresh ideas and solutions to design challenges.
