Job Title: Fund Accounting Director

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team, overseeing end-to-end accounting and reporting for complex fund structures. This leadership role involves leading a portfolio of real estate fund clients and acting as a senior escalation point for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Client & Fund Oversight
  • Manage client relationships and ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial reports.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, investor statements, and fund-level analytics.
People & Process Leadership
  • Lead multiple teams across locations comprising Managers, Senior Associates, and Associates.
  • Drive employee development through coaching, training, and structured career paths.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to SLA and KPI frameworks.
Operational Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (US GAAP / IFRS) and fund-specific documentation (LPAs, PPMs).
  • Oversee the implementation of new fund structures and process migrations.
Business Development & Strategy
  • Support new client onboarding including fund setup, system configuration, and resourcing.
  • Contribute to RFP responses, pricing models, and client presentations.

Requirements:

  • CA, CPA, ACCA or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
  • 8-12 years of progressive experience in fund accounting, preferably in a fund administration setup with exposure to global clients.
  • Strong background in real estate or private equity fund accounting (closed-end funds, REITs, SPVs).
  • Experience managing mid-size to large teams (10+ team members including leads and senior staff).
