Job Description

Overview: As our Business Development Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with our senior management members, the Studio Managers, to provide high-level business development and administrative support. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual with technical expertise in urban planning and/or design, exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Bid Management: Lead proposal preparation, including documentation, coordination with technical teams, bid compilation, and submission.
  • Analysis & Market Research: Prepare market research, strategy development, and analysis to support business growth.
  • Communication: Manage internal and external communications dynamically, in consultation with the Studio Managers, and respond to inquiries as appropriate.
  • Fostering Professional Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders through proactive outreach, meetings, and communications.
  • Scanning Business Opportunities: Continuously monitor opportunities across various online and offline platforms.
  • Marketing & Communications: Develop marketing materials, presentations, white papers, articles, and represent the A+U Division in forums.
  • Maintaining Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and Arcadis policies.
  • Supporting the Project Team: Provide technical support to project teams on a need basis.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Post-Graduate in Urban Planning /Policy/Management/or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development roles.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite (Illustrator & Indesign) and other relevant analytical and design software.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
