Job Overview

We're seeking an exceptional Data Solutions Developer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions that support the democratization of data across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and semantic models
  • Design and develop highly scalable assets using industry-leading platforms such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or similar tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to understand needs and translate them into impactful elements of the model
  • Build effective dashboards and reports to facilitate insight and strategic decision-making
  • Implement best practices for data quality, governance, and security within a centralized BI environment
  • Document data models, processes, and dashboards comprehensively for easy understanding and self-service access
  • Contribute to a culture of enablement through training, user experience modeling, process mapping, etc,
  • Collaborate with other members of the data team to ensure the success of projects
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging analytics trends and technologies, proactively proposing innovative solutions
Requirements

For this role, we are looking for a skilled professional with:

  • 3+ years of experience in a data-focused role, preferably as an Analytics Engineer
  • Deep understanding of semantic models and data modeling concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing technologies like Snowflake
  • Proven ability to build interactive dashboards and reports using industry-leading platforms
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept at explaining complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborative and consultative approach to problem-solving, focusing on enabling self-sufficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high data quality standards
  • Passion for data and its potential to drive business impact
