Job Title: Purchasing Specialist for Electronics

We are seeking an experienced purchasing specialist to source and procure electronic components, sensors, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and related hardware for wearable and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop relationships with global suppliers and manufacturers to secure reliable sources of electronic components.
  • Manage requests for quotation (RFQs), vendor negotiations, purchase orders, and contract terms to achieve cost efficiency and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and research and development (R&D) teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into sourcing specifications.
  • Evaluate and onboard alternate suppliers to reduce single-source dependency and mitigate supply risks.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and develop cost analysis reports to inform business decisions.
  • Support new product introduction by ensuring timely component availability and facilitating smooth transitions between design and production phases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electronics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain management for electronics or hardware.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCBs, and sensors.
  • Familiarity with import/export procedures, logistics, and customs clearance.
  • Proficiency in Excel, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and procurement tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
