Video Content Specialist

The role of a Video Content Specialist is multifaceted, requiring the creation of high-quality video content utilizing original and repurposed footage.

To excel in this position, one must be able to grasp the needs and specifications of various teams, develop and review scripts and raw materials for videos, trim footage segments, and sequence them logically.

This involves inputting music, dialogues, graphics, and effects while ensuring smooth running and consulting with stakeholders from diverse teams.

Staying up-to-date with new editing technologies and industry best practices is crucial to maximizing efficiency and productivity.

Key competencies for this role include:

  • Proven work experience as a video editor
  • Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut)
  • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Familiarity with special effects, animation, 3D, and compositing
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in Assamese and Hindi is highly desirable

Additional requirements include at least 4 years of experience and proficiency in using an editing machine/desktop. This is a contractual role until April 2026.
