Data Analytics Professional

Role Summary:

We seek an experienced data analytics professional to fill a challenging role within our organization. This individual will be responsible for leveraging their expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and database management to drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in SAS Viya, data visualization tools, and MySQL. They will also demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

Key Responsibilities:
  1. SAS Viya Administration:
  • Install, configure, and maintain SAS Viya environments
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of SAS Viya applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAS Viya infrastructure
  • Implement security best practices and manage user access and roles
Data Analytics and Statistical Analysis:
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis using SAS
  • Develop and maintain analytical models to support business decision-making
  • Interpret and communicate analytical results to stakeholders
Database Management:
  • Work with databases like MySQL to manage and query large datasets
  • Ensure data integrity and optimize database performance
MIS Reports and Dashboards:
  • Design and develop MIS reports and dashboards for various business units
  • Automate reporting processes and ensure timely delivery of reports
Collaboration and Documentation:
  • Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements
  • Document processes, models, and administrative procedures

 

Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in data analysis and statistical modeling (4 years)
  • Proficiency in SAS Viya and data visualization tools
  • Solid understanding of MySQL or other relational databases
  • Experience in creating and maintaining MIS reports and dashboards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
