Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Tax professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting, taxation, and compliance.

About the Role:

This position involves handling a variety of tasks related to accounting, tax compliance, and advisory services. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing financial data, preparing MIS reports, and generating financial statements. They will also be involved in tax compliance, including TDS, GST, and income tax returns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare annual financial statements for individuals, firms, and companies as per Companies Act requirements. Coordinate with auditors to ensure completion of audit.
  2. Tax Compliance: Handle TDS compliances, including preparation of tax calculations, challans, payments, and filing of TDS returns. Manage GST compliances, including preparation of calculations and payment of taxes, verification of invoices, and filing multiple returns.
  3. Income Tax Returns: Prepare and file ITRs for individuals, firms, trusts, and companies. Prepare Form 15CA, 15CB, tax audit forms, transfer pricing forms, and other relevant documents.
  4. Secretarial Compliances: Manage secretarial compliances, including preparation of minutes for board meetings, EGM, and AGM. Maintain statutory records and ensure periodic ROC filings.
  5. Financial Due Diligence: Conduct financial due diligence and its preparatory work. Provide advice on tax issues related to international payments, tax structuring, import and export of products, secretarial, and corporate issues.

Requirements:

  1. Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of financial accounting, analysis skills, and experience with MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint.
  2. Software Proficiency: Experience with TallyPrime and Computax (or other accounting/tax software).
  3. Communication Skills: Good communication and presentation skills.
  4. Staying Updated: Stay updated with latest changes in Company Law, Income Tax Law, and GST Law.
