Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and building scalable data models using dbt (Data Build Tool) and collaborating with data engineers to ingest and transform data from various sources.

  • Design and Build Scalable Data Models: Utilize dbt to create reusable and scalable data models.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers: Work with data engineers to ingest and transform data from various sources.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Maintain data quality, consistency, and documentation across all datasets.
  • Deliver Actionable Insights: Collaborate with analysts and business teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Implement Data Testing Frameworks: Develop and maintain data testing frameworks to validate pipeline integrity.
  • Optimize SQL Queries: Enhance SQL queries and data transformations for performance and scalability.
  • Maintain Version Control: Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines for analytics codebases.
  • Monitor and Troubleshoot: Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and models in production.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 6+ years in data engineering, analytics, or BI development.
  • Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with dbt or similar data modeling tools.
  • Cloud Data Warehouses: Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Data Warehousing Concepts: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes.
  • CI/CD Workflows: Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
