Senior Legal Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts across various sectors, including supply, service, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, tender, and bidding documents.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contract Drafting and Review: You will draft, review, and vet contracts to ensure legal and commercial risk mitigation, compliance with applicable laws, and alignment with internal policies.
  • Legal Opinions: Provide detailed legal opinions and guidance on matters including right of way and land acquisition, transmission service agreements, share purchase agreements, indemnity claims, and contractual payment disputes.
  • Land Due Diligence: Conduct thorough land-related legal due diligence and title verification for project development, assessing risks associated with land procurement and right of way.
  • Bid Support: Review final bid submissions for infrastructure projects and provide prompt clarifications to the bidding team to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Negotiation and Finalization: Engage in direct negotiations with external stakeholders and counterparties, finalizing contracts while maintaining business objectives.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive Contract Management Experience: Strong background in contract drafting, review, and negotiation, with experience in managing high-value contracts.
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively and negotiate successfully with stakeholders.
  • Strategic Risk Mitigation: Skilled in identifying and mitigating commercial and legal risks, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Land and Title Expertise: Proficiency in land-related legal due diligence and title verification, with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
