  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing using type-script automation tools like Playwright or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress/ Selenium.
  • Aligning test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.
  • Executing automated tests, logging defects with detailed reproduction steps, and supporting defect triage.
  • Creating and managing test data and environment configurations for automation.
  • Identifying and maintaining reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.
  • Contributing to the automation regression suite and maintaining automation assets.
  • Collaborating with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Following automation best practices and participating in peer reviews.
  • Maintaining Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Supporting manual testing efforts when required, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Tracking and reporting QA metrics such as defect rates, test coverage, and productivity
  • Required Skills & Experience:
  • A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects.
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright, Taiko or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress/ Selenium.
  • Experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years.
  • Experience in working with Git Repository.
  • Independently handling Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging.
  • Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.
  • Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge on CI / CD
  • Knowledge of API & API testing tools like Karate, Postman or RestAssured.
  • Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing.
  • Experience in improving test coverage and test strategy.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools & CI/CD tools should be good.
