Lead Game Release Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the timely delivery of our games. Your primary responsibility will be to understand a game release's requirements, allocate resources efficiently, and verify progress through regular checks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Scope Understanding: Identify the scope of each release, focusing on the reasons behind its development to effectively triage and escalate issues.
  • Resource Planning: Collaborate with Product Managers/Producers to plan resources and dependencies for each release, resulting in a comprehensive project plan.
  • Synchronization: Work closely with HODs and partner managers to ensure all teams are aligned and working towards common goals.
  • Production Oversight: Actively participate during the production phase, reviewing progress regularly, and engaging hands-on with builds, checklists, and project timelines.
  • Escalation: Effectively escalate unresolved problems or concerns, providing clear options for management to decide upon.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ Years of Experience: In a similar role, demonstrating expertise in project management.
  • Release Management: A history of launching or updating products (games) regularly, ideally at least 8 releases per year.
  • Game Enthusiast: Passion for playing games is essential.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech Background: Mobile app development experience is beneficial, but not required; knowledge of Android and iOS devices/store is a plus.
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: From an accredited university, preferably with additional formal qualifications in Project Management.
