Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Data Engineering Manager to spearhead the development and communication of a clear platform vision that drives business growth and operational efficiency.

  • Develop and communicate a compelling platform strategy to foster innovation and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities, solve complex challenges, and drive strategic alignment.
  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines utilizing AWS services such as S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
  • Implement data product storage, processing, and APIs using AWS-native tools and serverless architectures.
  • Leverage AWS Lake Formation for fine-grained access control and secure data sharing across domains.
  • Architect multi-tenant, domain-oriented data lakes and integrate with Redshift Spectrum / Athena for distributed querying.
  • Apply Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Drive platform governance, ensuring compliance with security and operational standards.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in developing and communicating platform visions that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines using AWS services.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and AWS CDK.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, business intelligence, and big data analytics.
