Audit Associate Role Overview

As an Audit Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the auditing team in reviewing and preparing financial statements. This is a challenging position that demands strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

The primary focus of this role is to assist in reviewing data entry, including sales, purchases, petty cash, receipts & payments. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing monthly income statements and balance sheets, as well as cash flow statements, according to IFRS and ISA standards.

  • Support the auditing team in reviewing data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with IFRS and ISA requirements.
  • Maintain a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time, adhering to deadlines and expectations.
  • Perform accounts closing and other financial tasks, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Develop proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Tally, leveraging these tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and analyze complex financial data.
  • Excellent finance expertise, with knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Tally, with experience in financial software applications.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance, with a focus on IFRS and ISA standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA Inter, CA) highly desirable.
